Tax Senior – Palm Beach County, FL
Salary Range: $80,000–$100,000/annually (DOE)
- Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns. Complete adjusting entries to the trial balance, as necessary to prepare the tax returns. Complete tax return adjustments for book-to-tax reconciliation, and accrual to cash conversions. Identify tax planning opportunities and provide strategic consulting to clients. Conduct tax research and draft memoranda on tax issues. Supervise and train junior staff and interns, assist with tax planning, and participate in client management. Manage multiple client engagements and ensure timely delivery of services. Assist in resolving tax controversies and communicating with tax authorities. Participate in firm enhancement, marketing efforts, and various projects and initiatives beyond core responsibilities.
- Qualifications: CPA preferred, 3-5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax. Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Taxation preferred. Proficiency in tax software (CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx) and Microsoft Office.
