Scott Steadman is a Forensic and Valuation Services Director with the Firm.  He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (“ASA”) with the American Society of Appraisers and a Certified Fraud Examiner (“CFE”).  He has over 30 years of professional experience in financial consulting and banking.

Scott has prepared over 700 business valuations, primarily in the areas of Gift and Estate, Mergers and Acquisitions, Charitable Contributions, S-corp Conversions, Litigation and Family Law.  Scott has testified numerous times at trials, hearings, and depositions and often assists with mediation. He has been named the court-appointed and agreed-upon expert for various proceedings as well.

With experience serving a variety of industries, Scott has provided litigation support services including assisting with case management, strategy and the quantification of economic damages resulting from breach of contract and shareholder disputes.  In addition, Scott has completed numerous internal corporate theft and fraud investigations.

Scott is a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Socioeconomics and a Master of Business Administration in Finance.  Scott is originally from Lansing, Michigan and presently resides in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
