Monica Kaden is a Managing Director of the Forensic and Valuation Services Group. She is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) with the American Society of Appraisers. She is Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV) through the AICPA, and she is a Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) with the Healthcare Financial Management Association. She has been in the field of valuation and forensic accounting for the past thirty years.

Monica has had clients in many different industries and has a specialty in healthcare valuation and litigation matters. Monica’s practice includes business valuation for estate and gift tax purposes, mergers and acquisitions, litigation support for both matrimonial matters and shareholders matters, performing lost profits analyses, and testifying as an expert witness in court. She has testified as an expert in both New Jersey and California and has been qualified as a healthcare expert as well. She has provided many presentations and published articles over her career.

Monica was the past treasurer of the ASA Northern NJ Chapter. She is also a member of the New Jersey HFMA chapter. In the community, Monica was a Trustee of The Healthcare Foundation of NJ for the past 10 years, and served as its Treasurer for the past two years. She was the President of a women’s non-profit organization in Morristown for 4 years and was on the Executive Board of her synagogue for many years.

Monica is a graduate of Brandeis University, and received her MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and graduated with honors in finance and accounting.  She did post graduate studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University in accounting.
