Michael Kaplan, a Member of the Firm, oversees the Quality Management of the firms Audit and Accounting practice. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New Jersey and New York. He has practiced public accounting for almost 30 years. He is a frequent speaker for the NJCPA on various Auditing and Accounting topics. He has presented on national webcasts, at conferences and at many certified professional education courses. In addition, he has written articles on various employee benefit plan topics.

Michael ensures the firm’s financial reporting practice complies with all professional standards and assists our audit teams in completing their audits and reviews of our client’s financial statements in a wide variety of industries including manufacturing and distribution; healthcare and life sciences; real estate and construction; technology and software; broadcasting and media; retail and apparel; not‑for‑profit and professional service organizations, and numerous employee benefit plans.

Michael is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past chairperson of the Auditing and Accounting Interest Group of the NJCPA.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Delaware with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He practices out of our Red Bank, New Jersey office.
