Eric Mendes is a Tax Manager of the firm. He has over 12 years of experience working in public accounting and specializes in corporate, partnership, individual, trust, gift, and not-for-profit taxes.

Eric is a federally licensed Enrolled Agent who is authorized to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). He is a member of the following Smolin Tax Department Focus Teams: Tax Controversy, State and Local Tax (SALT), and International Tax.

Eric is a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents (NAEA). He is also a part of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA).

He is a graduate of Rowan University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Eric practices out of our Red Bank office and resides in East Brunswick, New Jersey, with his wife, and three sons. In his free time, he enjoys watching sports, playing golf, and coaching his sons’ baseball teams.
