Tax Senior Manager – Plantation, FL
Salary Range: $125,000–$175,000 annually (DOE)
- Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Lead and manage complex tax engagements for corporations, partnerships and high-net-worth individuals. Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients across various industries. Manage client relationships and the entire engagement, including quoting of engagements, billing, preparation of invoices. Review and approve tax returns prepared by managers and staff. Conduct technical tax research for staff and supervisors. Draft memoranda on complex issues. Prepartion of invoices. Be a technical resource for staff and supervisors. Manage team conflicts. Supervise and develop managers, tax staff, and mentor our growing team. Assist in business development and proposal preparation. Participate in the firm enhancement, marketing efforts, and various projects and initiatives beyond core responsibilities.
- Qualifications: CPA preferred. 7-10 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax. Strong technical knowledge and experience with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Proven leadership and team management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Taxation preferred. Proficiency in tax software (CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx) and Microsoft Office.
