Tax Manager – Plantation, FL
Salary Range: $110,000–$150,000 annually (DOE)
- Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Oversee tax compliance, planning, and manage complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts. Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services to clients across various industries. Maintain a client list and manage client relationships. Research and resolve complex tax issues and stay current on tax law changes. Assist in business development, proposal preparation, quoting, draft invoices for services, complete billing, and manage the entire engagement. Implement and oversee budgets. Supervise, manage, train, and mentor tax staff and seniors. Assist in business development and proposal preparation, participate in the firm enhancement, marketing efforts, and various projects and initiatives beyond core responsibilities.
- Qualifications: CPA preferred. 5-8 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax. Strong technical knowledge and experience with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Proven leadership and team management skills. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Taxation preferred. Proficiency in tax software (CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx) and Microsoft Office.
