Catherine Syslo is a Director of the Firm. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in New York, with more than 25 years of experience in both public accounting and the private sector. She joined the firm in 2003.

Previously Catherine worked six years with a Big 4 firm and was an Internal Audit Manager for a major insurance company.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants.  She is a member of the NJSCPA Accounting & Audit Interest Group and the Non Profit Interest Group. She has held leadership positions with the Boy Scouts of America, as well as local school and church organizations.  Catherine’s expertise is in the field of audits, including not-for profit and ERISA engagements.  The primary industries she has served include employee benefit plans, not-for-profit, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, and professional service firms.

She has lectured and conducted training seminars on topics dealing with accounting and auditing, financial statement preparation, employee benefit plan audits and audits in compliance with OMB A-133.  Catherine is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of St. John’s University with a B.S. in Accounting.
