Smolin Lupin Staff Accountant Gives Back through National Guard

Captain Brett Robertson, a staff accountant at Smolin Lupin, spent July 12 talking to kids about his military experiences at the New Jersey National Guard's Youth Camp 2012 program in Sea Girt, N.J.
Brett, Company Commander of the A Company 2-113th Infantry in Newark, N.J., has been selected for the last three years to represent the National Guard at the summer camp.
"It's a program that is designed to help kids ages 9 to 13 build relationships and understand the National Guard," Brett said. "It is basically driven around a military lifestyle camp and the kids get up every morning to do Physical Training, or PT, and various activities each day."
Run by the National Guard's Family Programs Office, the summer camp provides a safe and enjoyable environment for children and legal dependents of New Jersey National Guard members and veterans. Children participate in a week of sports, arts and crafts, swimming, archery, health and fitness activities, substance abuse education and child safety.
